LabelCheck
Available
LabelCheck reads your cosmetic label against EU and Great Britain rules before it goes to print. For each point to fix, you get the corrected text and the rule behind it. What to change stays your call.
How LabelCheck worksHair and beauty since 1996
I'm Claudio Nicodemo. In 2026 it's 30 years since I started in a salon. Then came wholesale across Europe, and after that private label. All of that went into cosmetiFULL, a suite of apps for beauty brand owners, cosmetic manufacturers and safety assessors. Its checks sit where the expensive decisions get made, like the words on a label. At that point a change still costs nothing.
What I do today
It's the suite of apps I started for the three roles behind every cosmetic on sale. There's the beauty brand owner who sells it under their own name, and the manufacturer who makes it. And there's the safety assessor, who signs the assessment that lets it go out. The guides I publish on the cosmetiFULL blog come from the same work.

How LabelCheck worksAvailable
ExpertDesk is for the question you'd put to a colleague who knows that exact part of the work. You write it the way you'd say it, and it goes to the right AI specialist, such as a colorist or a cosmetic chemist.
How ExpertDesk worksI still work on some private label projects as a consultant, from the first brief to the label. In between there's the formula, the choice of manufacturer, and what it'll cost and how long it'll take.
The method
The name and the claims end up on the label, and the label is already a legal document. So the marketing has to exist before the product does. I've been through most of the trades in this industry, one after the other, and that left me a way of looking at a project from every side at once.
1996
My first job was as an apprentice in a salon. Hairdressing school was a long way from the village near Venice where I grew up, so learning the trade meant buses and a train.
After that, years behind the chair. I also earned an instructor diploma, and as a technical trainer for international brands I taught other professionals how to use those brands' products.
Later I moved abroad and went into distribution and wholesale across Europe, where I learned margins the expensive way. Private label came last, and it asks for everything the trades before it teach.
Today
I founded cosmetiFULL. What I've learned I pass on in the guides on its blog, and I've spoken on stage at BeautySphera, the international cosmetology summit.
Contact
Write to me about a product you're working on, or about something we could do together. If you're looking for a consultant on your private label project, tell me where it stands. I read and answer messages myself, and a question about a real project gets a better answer than a general one.
